Spartan Race Fire Jump - Asheville, NC 2017

Travelled to Asheville, NC to shoot the NBC Spartan Races this past weekend and had the pleasure of watching almost 10,000 people traverse over the epic Spartan fire jump.  This race is located in Black Mountian, NC, just outside of Asheville in a quarry on the side of a mountian.  They say when you finish this race you "conquered the mountain".  Saturdays race was a Super consisting of a course over 9 miles and Sundays race was a Sprint with around 4 miles with 20+ fun filled obstacles between the two.

You see a wide assortment or excited folks as they finish the race.  some people jump, some dab, others flex, spin, flip, kiss.  You see it all, and the best is the smile and personal satisfaction of conquering the mountain!

Spartan Race - Atlanta 2016

Once again I had the opportunity to shoot the Spartan Race Atlanta at the Georgia International Horse Park located in Conyers, Georgia.  As always these events are filled with inspiring, tough and fun to photograph people.  For this race I covered the Dunk Wall for the first time.  I have to say it is my new favorite.  The dunk wall was, according to race participants, was a game changer.  I tried my best to capture the intensity they felt after climbing out of this most challenging obstacle!

 

I look forward to my next race in Charlotte.

A New Home. Finally Updated my website.

So I finally made the changes I needed to make to get the fresh clean website I have been wanting for the past few years while still having control of the functions and features that will make it easy for me to share information with you.
